Two spacious two-bedroom apartments (with 20 percent more space overall) are specialised to provide added comfort and ease of use for guests. Kitchens provide lowered kitchen benches with space for wheelchairs to move freely underneath from one side to the other, and ease of access to stove and sink, while bathrooms feature roll under shower access, roll-in shower grab bars and a pull-down bench, plus lowered mirrors and towel-rails.
At night you'll find light switches conveniently placed at a user-friendly height, and access to the deck is made easier with bevelled edges for smooth indoor/outdoor flow.
Wide and evenly surfaced wheelchair access is available throughout the Edgewater Palms complex, and even the underground parking spaces provide flat, easy access to wheelchair friendly lifts.
If required, caregivers or family and friends can be comfortably accommodated in the second bedroom which features its own private and traditionally-styled ensuite.
